Wednesday
Connecticut will see more clouds on Wednesday as moisture increases in the atmosphere. There is a slight chance for an afternoon shower, but most of the day will stay dry. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy across the state.
Thursday into Thursday Night
Temperatures will warm up on Thursday, with highs reaching the 50s along the Connecticut shoreline and climbing into the 60s inland. There is a chance of even warmer spots if clouds break. For Mets fans, the weather should be pleasant at Citi Field with partly cloudy skies and game-time temperatures around 60 degrees. A cold front will approach late in the day, bringing a chance of showers, with steadier rain likely developing Thursday night.
Friday into the Weekend
Rain will end early Friday morning, followed by clearing skies and drier air. The weekend will turn colder, with daytime highs mainly in the 40s and chilly nights dropping into the 20s and 30s, especially inland. Dry weather is expected to continue through the weekend before temperatures slowly begin to moderate early next week.
