A Milford author has written a children's book that she hopes helps kids get through the coronavirus pandemic.
Carrie Crawford Martinelli is a music teacher who just wrote her first children's book, "Traveling Tessa."
Tessa's stuffed bear magically transports her to different countries once she falls asleep.
Martinelli says for many kids who are looking for something to do, this is an imaginative way to leave the house.
"I think the idea that we can still travel and there are places and adventures and things to learn, waiting for us, gives some sense of hope for what we're going through that this will pass," said Martinelli.
"Traveling Tessa" is available on Amazon.
