Milford business to hold car wash for special-needs girl
A Milford auto body shop will be holding a two-day car wash to help a girl suffering from a rare disease this weekend.
Greg's Auto Body Shop on New Haven Avenue will hold the car wash on Saturday and Sunday to benefit an 11-year-old girl suffering from Poland syndrome, which causes muscle deterioration. The girl also has a lung disease and is deaf and mute.
"I really don't know that much about the disease, all I know is that this is coming from my heart, our hearts, at Greg's Auto Body to do as much as we can and raise as much as we can," says Greg Christofakis.
