The Milford Chamber of Commerce says it's looking for rental properties that can be offered to displaced Sandy victims who are unable to stay in their houses.

City officials are hoping to hear from individuals or real estate agencies that have properties available. The chamber is looking for homes, apartments or even hotel rooms.

City officials say there is a shortage of rental properties in Milford right now, but no shortage of people willing to help those in need find some stability.

Any real estate agency or private individual who has rental property available is urged to send their listing to Kathy Alagno at chambercommunications@milfordct.com or contact the Milford Chamber of Commerce at 203-878-0681.
