The Milford Fire Department says an afternoon house fire has been safely put out.
They say one resident was able to get out of the house before crews arrived around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Nobody else was inside the home. Crews say they had to cut a hole in the roof for firefighting efforts.
Officials say there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
