Milford firefighters put out afternoon blaze on Bryan Hill Road
Officials say nobody was hurt. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

The Milford Fire Department says an afternoon house fire has been safely put out.
They say one resident was able to get out of the house before crews arrived around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Nobody else was inside the home. Crews say they had to cut a hole in the roof for firefighting efforts.
Officials say there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
