The city of Milford celebrated the Fourth of July holiday today by honoring those who fought for our nation's independence.
Milford hosted a wreath-laying ceremony at City Hall in honor of veterans both past and present.
Participants laid wreathes in front of the city's war monument in remembrance.
Organizers say it is important to remember those who've fought for freedom. Although the city lays wreaths every July 4, this year is special because the city is celebrating its 375th anniversary.
