Stratford police say they found a woman duct-taped inside a motel room and that she had been reported as missing across state lines.
Police say they were called to the Honeyspot Motel just off of Exit 31 on I-95 Wednesday afternoon, where they discovered a woman whose wrist and ankles were taped.
Authorities in Iowa say that the woman had been missing since Sunday.
Police say they later found a man that the woman was with, who says he is from the Bridgeport area. Police are trying to determine the connection between the two.
No drugs or weapons were found at the scene. 
Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti says federal agents, the FBI and agencies from Iowa are assisting on the case.
The woman is being treated at a hospital.
