There is a sad ending to the story of a missing dog in Stamford as the family says he has been found dead.
Niko had belonged to professional soccer player and coach Keith Segovia who died six years ago after battling colon cancer.
Segovia's family had said Niko was special to them because the dog had been loyal to Segovia while he had battled the disease.
His family says they found Niko dead near train tracks in Stamford.
