A celebration was held to remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this morning at the Mount Aery Baptist Church in Bridgeport.
A reverend who worked with Dr. King and who preached in Bridgeport in the 60s and 70s was a guest speaker.
Rev. Dr. James Peters Jr. says there were many people apart of the movement and he wants everyone to remember King's words.
