A vehicle went through the rotary at the intersection of Route 111 and 110, over a guard rail and into the shrubs in the parking area of St. Jude Church in Monroe Sunday morning, fire officials say.
It happened around 4:20 a.m. Officials say the two are "considered very fortunate" because they were able to get out of the vehicle on their own. They were treated by EMS.
Firefighters remained on scene for over an hour to address a fluid spill that went into a catch basis and monitored hazards while the vehicle was removed.
It's not clear what led to the crash.
