Tenants in a Morissania apartment building have been struggling to get by without electricity since Saturday morning.
Residents at 1100 Franklin Ave. say that the power was cut after the electric room in the basement flooded. Since then, they haven't had heat, hot water or lighting.
The building's management company says Con Edison is to blame for the delay in getting everything restored; however Con Edison claims that the right materials for repairs have not yet been submitted.
The company issued a statement to tenants saying, "We have been working extremely hard to correct this issue to ensure the electricity gets turned on."
