More mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile virus in Connecticut.
The New Haven Register reports that the virus was detected in a pool of mosquitoes collected last month in Easton.
This is the second pool to test positive for West Nile this season, the other being in New Canaan.
Experts say the area is not a typical hotspot for the virus.
Last year, three Connecticut residents were diagnosed and hospitalized from infections.
