STORM HEADLINES

• More rain overnight into Monday morning

  • Scattered instances of street flooding are possible through early Monday. The rain will be heavy through the overnight hours, with a thunderstorm possible. Please use extreme caution traveling due to the chance for ponding of water and other storm-related debris on some streets.

• Not as windy, but more scattered power outages remain possible

  • The wind alerts from the National Weather Service have ended. Wind gusts will still be around 15 to 30 mph and that is enough, with a wet ground, already weakened trees and more rain falling, to cause some additional trees, branches and powerlines to come down through overnight.

• Less impactful high tide, but still minor coastal flooding

  • A coastal flood advisory is in effect until noon Monday for mostly minor additional coastal flooding during the next two high tide cycles. Water will still be in the streets in low-lying communities, but not as severe as earlier tides.

  • Check local tides and shoreline alerts.

OVERNIGHT

Expect periods of moderate to heavy rain to continue, with isolated thunderstorms possible. Localized flooding cannot be ruled out, with an additional 1" to 2" of rain expected by Monday morning.

MONDAY

The wind will be lighter, from the north at 10 to 20 mph but overcast skies are expected with on and off showers through mid-afternoon. It will finally completely dry out for Monday evening. Highs are in the mid-60s.

REST OF THE WEEK

The weather improves with a mix of sun and clouds, light breezes and high temperatures in the 70s. Next weekend could be wet at times again, especially Sunday, but it's too early as of Sunday night's forecast for any exact details just yet.
