An MS-13 gang member was sentenced to 52 years in prison for kidnapping and assaulting a teen in Brentwood.
Yeison Chaves-Campos is the last of seven men convicted of kidnapping a 15-year-old and then beating him last January.
Prosecutors say the group hit the teen with a brick, stabbed him in the neck, and left him for dead at Pilgrim Psychiatric Center.
They say a good Samaritan took the teen to the hospital.
Prosecutors say Chavez-Campos is in the U.S. illegally. He's expected to be deported once he completes his sentence.
