Multiple fire departments remain on the scene of a massive brush fire in Milford.
The fire has been fed by large amounts of dry timber and grasses that combined with dry weather and allowed the fires to grow.
Fire officials say they were forced to shut down parts of Interstate 95 temporarily and Metro-North officials suspended some service earlier in the evening while firefighters battled the flames.
Officials say that no injuries have been reported due to the brush fire.
Firefighters say they will be searching for hot spots throughout the evening and morning.
