The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20, with major road closures from 5 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. for the cycling portion of the race.
Closed roads include:
- Wantagh State Parkway (Northern State Parkway to Ocean Parkway)
- Bay Parkway (Eastbound and westbound between Meadowbrook Parkway and Wantagh Parkway)
- Green Island Fishing Pier and Jones Beach Field 10 Fishing Pier
Drivers should plan alternate routes and expect delays throughout the day.
