Members of the Hartford community came together Wednesday to discuss an audit report that claims some state troopers falsified data.
The NAACP held the community forum at the University of Connecticut's Hartford campus.
The audit that was released last month reportedly found hundreds of Connecticut state police troopers falsified information on at least 26,000 traffic stops from 2014 to 2021.
The findings suggest that tickets may have been falsified to skew racial profiling data.
Connecticut's Judiciary and Public Safety and Security Committees are scheduled to meet on July 26 to discuss the audit report.
