The nation's largest private landlord has settled a price-fixing lawsuit with the government.
Greystar, which manages nearly a million rental units nationwide including several in Connecticut, is accused of using computer algorithms to coordinate rent increases with other landlords, according to prosecutors.
The settlement bars the company from using that software and sharing pricing data.
Greystar admitted no wrongdoing but agreed to cooperate in a separate investigation. A federal judge still needs to approve the settlement.
