Police say nearly 2,000 cannabis products were seized during inspections at six Shelton smoke shops. This included items without a proper license and illegal cannabis products.

Police noted that underage customers were sold products at each location, and none of the store employees asked for identification.

An investigation is ongoing. The store employees involved are facing charges.
