Big Y announced it has reached an agreement to open two new store locations in Connecticut. 

The stores will be located at 1076 Post Road East in Westport and 14 Candlewood Lake Road in Brookfield. 

The company also has a supermarket already under construction in Middletown. 

The representatives say the new constructions could start as early as four to six months. 

Big Y has also announced that it is building a gas and convenience store across the street from its North Haven Big Y supermarket. The new addition will mark their 18th Big Y Express for the chain.
