New Canaan downtown reopens after gas leak

Police closed Elm Street after a leak was discovered coming from a propane tank feeding a restaurant.

A portion of downtown New Canaan was closed for several hours Wednesday morning after a gas leak, but everything is back to normal Thursday.
Police closed Elm Street after a leak was discovered coming from a propane tank feeding a restaurant.
Firefighters found the source of the leak and secured the area. There were no injuries reported.
