New Canaan mourns loss of high school senior

Classes will operate on a two-hour delay today with counseling services available to students.

A New Canaan High School senior died Saturday night, according to Superintendent Bryan Luizzi.
In a letter to the community, Luizzi described Elliott Kropf as "a strong student, an excellent athlete, a kind young man, and a wonderful friend." Luizzi expressed condolences to Kropf's family and loved ones.
Classes will operate on a two-hour delay today with counseling services available to students.
The cause of Kropf's death has not been released.
