Bridgeport leaders cut the ribbon this morning on Bullard-Havens Technical High School's new classrooms.
The school was able to upgrade all the equipment in the machining department using money from a state grant.
Officials say the investment will help students build a career.
The improvements were part of a $10 million, five-year plan to modernize the school.
