A new local seafood eatery on Compo Beach is making its debut with an innovative look to a beachfront concession stand.

Hook’d on the Sound, which opened two weeks ago, offers a large menu from breakfast to seafood snacks.

The new restaurant serves lobster rolls, fish tacos and smoothies.

"We wanted something a step up from the hot dogs and hamburgers only," said general manager Nadine Wilf.

Hook’d on the Sound is open seven days a week.
