New Milford police are asking for the public’s help identifying a driver they say “buzzed” by them during a traffic stop.
The department posted pictures of the suspected car that sped past two stopped cruisers.
They say the car came within feet of officers conducting a traffic stop at about 65 mph.
It happened on May 24 on Danbury Road near Pickett District Road.
Police say they are looking for a gray 2021 BMW M340xi. They added that they have a partial license plate and believe the same car fled from officers on Danbury Road on May 5.
Anyone with information can contact New Milford police at 860-355-2000.
