The pandemic seems to have caused the Grinch to have a change of heart.
"I am no longer a mean one," said the Grinch.
The Ridgefield Grinch can be spotted most nights by homes, not to steal gifts, but to give them.
His Facebook page is blowing up - with more than 1,000 families requesting a visit.
The Grinch has been quiet about his legal identity but he has been in touch with the first selectman, police chief and animal control.
"It's amazing. We have had cars following us and people chasing us just to see the Grinch, it's fantastic," said Craig Zulkeski, with animal control.
Anyone who would like to donate toys can reach out to the Ridgefield Grinch on Facebook.
