The city of Norwalk is celebrating National Immunization Awareness Month by spreading the importance of vaccines.

August is National Immunization Awareness Month and health departments across the country are alerting families to the different kinds of vaccinations available.

During this month, doctors will focus on making sure children and adults receive age-appropriate vaccines.
