The Norwalk branch of the NAACP held a rally Tuesday evening outside City Hall.
Local officials and NAACP members say they spoke at the rally to advocate a better relationship between police and the community.
Officials say the rally gave people a chance to share their feelings and learn how to deal with emotions after recent police shootings. They add that officers must hold each other accountable for their actions.
Counseling will be available through the Norwalk Health Department to help community members deal with their emotions.
