Norwalk police: BMW stolen and recovered following armed carjacking on Westport Avenue

Police say just after 5 a.m., two people stole a BMW from its owner at gunpoint on Westport Avenue.

Norwalk police say an armed carjacking took place early Thursday morning.
Police say just after 5 a.m., two people stole a BMW from its owner at gunpoint on Westport Avenue.
The suspects took off and attempted to steal another car at the intersection of Dry Hill and Westport Avenues.
Police say that driver was able to maneuver the vehicle past the suspects' vehicle and flee.
The stolen BMW was later found in Norwalk.
