Norwalk police have put out a call for help on their Facebook page in hopes of finding answers in a 45-year-old cold case murder.
Police say it happened in 1971 at the Mobil gas station on East Avenue and Winfield Street.
They say Earl Collins, 50, was shot in the chest after an apparent robbery.
Several witnesses say two male suspects got into a dark green Chevy with orange license plates and sped from the scene.
Police say Collins died four days later in the hospital.
They say a number of suspects were named but no arrests were made.
