Some people in Norwalk are worried about a halfway house for ex-convicts set to reopen in their neighborhood.
The building is located at 17 Quintard Ave.
Mayor Harry Rilling met with concerned citizens last night outside the home to talk about the plans.
The home used to house six ex-cons at one time, but neighbors say the new owners renovated the building so it could fit as many as 20.
The neighbors say they're worried about safety and also how putting that many people into one house will put a strain on neighborhood utilities and parking.
Mayor Rilling says he will continue to meet with neighbors to discuss the halfway house.
