The West Rocks Middle School in Norwalk hosted an annual community breakfast and citywide program in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The event featured speakers and workshops aimed at reminding adults of Dr. King's legacy, in addition to introducing his works to children.
Organizers say the goal of the is to keep King's message in the minds of attendees.
Service awards were given to Norwalk high school students in recognition of their community service.
