A 29-year-old Norwalk woman was arrested in Mamaroneck for stealing over a $1,000 in bar mitzvah money.
Village of Mamaroneck police arrested Maria Ham-Sagastume after reports of bar mitzvah checks were not cashed by the Orienta Beach Club.
Investigators found surveillance video that showed Sagastume removing gift cards during multiple celebrations.
Footage also linked Sagastume with attempting to cash stolen checks at various locations.
She is facing multiple charges from various departments for her actions.
