A coffee roaster caught fire at Stew Leonard's in Norwalk Saturday, temporarily closing the store.
Firefighters responded to the store at 7:35 a.m. The flames spread to the roof.
Officials say crews were able to get onto the roof and confirm there was a fire in the chimney of the coffee roaster, but it was only contained to the outside of the chimney.
The top of the chimney was dismantled, and the fire was put out. No one was injured.
The store was temporarily closed but has since reopened.
In a statement, Meghan Bell, director of public relations for Stew Leonard's said, "We are grateful to the Norwalk fire for responding so quickly and that nobody was hurt. Customers and our Team Members were allowed back inside the store within 20 minutes. And don't worry you can still get a freshly roasted cup of coffee at Stew's today."
