A group of nurses gathered at the Capitol in Hartford on Wednesday to confront state lawmakers.
Members of “Connecticut Nurses United” came together to fight for safe staffing at hospitals across the state.
"The patient ratios in Connecticut are too high,” said Connecticut Nurses United member Krystal Myers. “There are too many patients assigned to one nurse. And we want to help solve that."
Around 100 nurses were on hand for the event.
