The NYPD is investigating the death of a man found unresponsive in a roadway close to Bronx Park.
Authorities say officers responded around 10:45 p.m. Thursday to Southern Boulevard, where it meets with Crotona Avenue.
They say officers discovered an unresponsive 29-year-old man next to a damaged motorized scooter, but no other vehicle was there.
Police are trying to determine if there was a hit-and-run incident, or if the victim lost control of the scooter.
