Bridgeport fire crews responded Saturday to a house fire on Bond Street.

The fire broke out just before 4:30 p.m. Firefighters had to battle heavy flames on the second and third floors.

Five people in total were displaced by the fire and are being relocated by the Red Cross. 

Two were sent to the hospital as a precaution.

Officials say some family pets were killed during the incident.
