Westport fire officials say six people were hurt following a three-car crash on the Merritt Parkway Sunday night.
The accident happened on the northbound side of the highway between exits 41 and 42 just before 8 p.m.
Officials say three people were seriously hurt, while three others suffered injuries that were not considered life threatening.
The highway was closed for about an hour while crews were on the scene.
