Ten cars were damaged on Monday during a fire at an auto repair shop in Newington.
Fire officials say four cars went up in flames at around 9 p.m. and ended up damaging 10 vehicles in total. Six of the vehicles were heavily damaged, and four others sustained minor to moderate damage.
Fire crews were able to put the fire out within an hour. No one was injured, according to authorities.
A Newington fire official said he called in the state police’s Fire and Explosion Unit to help with the investigation due to the extent of the damage.
