A garage was severely damaged following a fire in Stratford Thursday.
Officials say they received multiple 911 calls for smoke and flames coming from an attached garage on Brooklawn Road around 2:45 p.m.
A total of 22 firefighters responded to the fire, which also spread into the basement.
Officials say due to weather conditions at the time, Bridgeport firefighters were called to the scene for additional manpower.
No one was injured, but two pets were removed from the home.
The Stratford Fire Marshal is investigating the fire.
Fire officials want to remind residents to have working smoke detectors, regularly practice an escape plan and call 911 immediately if you see smoke or fire.
