A fire broke out inside a Westport Church on Ash Wednesday, officials say.
The fire happened inside the Christ and Holy Trinity Church around 8:25 p.m.
Firefighters say they were called to the house of worship after a fire alarm went off inside.
They say heavy smoke was coming from a room adjacent to the alter.
A fire was quickly extinguished.
Officials say no one was injured.
