Fire crews responded to a fire on Evergreen Avenue in Westport around 7 p.m. Monday, officials say.

The fire was contained to the garage and did not spread to the rest of the house.

Officials say there were several small explosions that they attributed to normal garage contents and vehicle tires.

The garage sustained extensive damage along with the contents of the garage, including the vehicle parked inside.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
