Elizabeth officials say there were no shots fired during a Sunday evening incident at The Mills at Jersey Gardens.
Officials confirmed to News 12 that, despite rumors, there was no shooting or a lockdown at the mall.
Officials say there were two fights in two different stores. One of the fights was between employees, and the other between two guests.
They say a child was arrested.
NJ Transit buses briefly stopped service to the mall.

Bridgewater Commons increased its police presence and had a temporary youth supervision policy to stop another planned meetup on the weekend of May 31 and June 1.
News 12 reached out to Simon Properties, who owns The Mills at Jersey Gardens, for comment but had not heard back as of Sunday night.
