Officials praise Kent Highway Department's quick action to plow lot to help injured person be airlifted

It happened after Kent EMS responded to a call of someone traumatically injured by a snowblower.

Officials said Kent Highway Department quickly plowed the lot for a LIFE STAR helicopter to have a safe place to land on Monday.
It happened after Kent EMS responded to a call of someone traumatically injured by a snowblower.
The victim had to be airlifted out.
Officials said the patient and crew were able to be back in the air and on their way to the hospital in just minutes.
Kent firefighters posted a video to Facebook and a message praising the multieffort teamwork.
