Bridgeport Animal Control is asking for help locating the owner of a dog that was found tied up in poor condition and later died.

The shelter says the dog, named Bear, was in terrible condition when they found him tied up and abandoned on a city street a week ago.

He was in such bad shape that he needed to be taken to animal hospice, where he died a few days later.

Anyone with info on Bear’s owners are urged to call Bridgeport Animal Shelter.
