14h agoA Shelton man is facing several charges for producing child sex abuse images, according to officials.
Prosecutors say Ross DeLibro, 53, has been charged by federal criminal complaint with the production of child pornography.
DeLibro has been detained since he was arrested on related state charges in June.
Detectives began an investigation into the sharing of child sex abuse images and videos in March.
Prosecutors say the investigation revealed an IP address assigned to DeLibro's home had been used to download child sex abuse videos.
As part of their investigation, investigators seized DeLibro's laptop, iPhone, an external hard drive and other items.
Investigators found images and videos showing the sexual abuse of children on those electric devices.
