State officials say there will be a stimulated train accident in New Haven to test the emergency response protocols.
The drill will take place at the Belle Dock rail yard on Saturday.
The simulated head-on train crash will include police officers, firefighters, emergency dispatchers and volunteer passengers who will pretend to be injured.
The simulation is required by the Federal Railroad Administration.
