Officials say a truck got stuck under a bridge on the Merritt Parkway Saturday.

They say it happened in the south lanes between exit 36 and a rest area. Officials say trucks get stuck under the bridges at least once a week.

The low bridges on the roadway are a reason why commercial vehicles and trucks are not allowed on the Merritt Parkway.
