Tuesday marks the one-year anniversary of a brutal Greenwich murder that remains unsolved.
Since real estate developer Andrew Kissel was found bound and stabbed to death in his rented Greenwich mansion, mystery has surrounded the case. Kissel had been set to plead guilty to real estate fraud. While his estranged wife and family continue to fight over his will, forensic scientists and investigators continue to pour over evidence to find Kissel?s killer.
Elain Pagliaro, from the Department of Public Safety Forensic Science Laboratory, says more than 150 items of evidence have been probed, but no matches with DNA or fingerprints link anyone to the crime. Pagliaro says she hasn?t lost hope in the case. ?Most cases ultimately can be solved whether they are solved by physical examination or data,? Pagliaro said.
