An Orange probationary police officer accused of sexually assaulting a woman appeared in Milford Superior Court Tuesday.
Police say Jared Rohrig, 25, posed as his twin brother at a house party on July 19. According to the search warrant, Rohrig forced a woman to have sex with him after she realized he wasn't who he said he was.
The judge ordered Rohrig not to have any contact with the alleged victim while the case is pending.
Rohrig is out on $50,000 bond and is on paid administrative leave from the Orange Police Department. Rohrig's attorney says his client will plead not guilty Oct. 7.
